Granada have expressed their interest in extending Liverpool youngster Tiago Ilori’s loan spell at the club.
Ilori arrived at Anfield in a £7m deal from Sporting Lisbon last summer but is yet to make a first-team outing for Brendan Rodgers’ side.
The Portuguese centre-back was sent on loan to Granada last month until the end of the season and has made two league starts for the La Liga club.
Granada are already impressed with his ability and their sporting director Juan Carlos Cardero says the club are interested in having him within their ranks next season.
He told Spanish newspaper Ideal: “Ilori has demonstrated his quality and will continue to grow as a professional.
“[Prolonging his stay] is a good option to consider for our club but until the end of the season we do not know if Liverpool will re-assign him or sell him. And we are looking forward.”
