The three flyway races, starting at Sepang in Malaysia this weekend, will have a massive bearing on whether Redding or Pol Espargaro claims the crown.
Despite a valiant effort last time at Aragon, Redding has seen his advantage over Espargaro cut to 20 points with four rounds remaining.
“I’m trying to get the consistency back into my results to wrap up this world championship,” said 20-year-old Redding, winner of three races this season for the Marc VDS team.
“My thoughts about MotoGP next year are at the back of my mind until this is done.
“My age and experience is helping me and I don’t go crazy when things go wrong, like I would have done when I was younger.”
Redding is aiming to become the first British grand prix road racing world champion for 36 years. Countrymen Sam Lowes (World Supersport) and Tai Woffinden (Speedway) have lifted FIM titles so far this year.
Espargaro will also move up to MotoGP next season, with Tech 3 Yamaha, while Redding will ride a Honda Production Racer for Gresini.
