Aston Villa Defeats Norwich 1

Brad Guzan saved a penalty kick to

help Aston Villa defeat Norwich 1-0 in English soccer’s Premier

League.

Guzan stopped Robert Snodgrass’s penalty in the first half

and also made a lunging one-handed save against Gary Hooper with

two minutes remaining at Carrow Road in Norwich.

Libor Kozak scored in the 30th minute after replacing

Villa’s top scorer Christian Benteke, who left with an injury.

Villa ended a run of 26 straight games allowing a goal, the

longest current streak in the Premier League.
