MotoGP has reshuffled the run-in to its 2014 calendar, switching the order of its Malaysia-Japan-Australia-triple header.
Japan will now kick off the back-to-backs rounds on October 12, the sport’s governing body the FIM has confirmed.
The Motegi event will be followed by Australia and then Malaysia on October 19 and 26 respectively.
As revealed in October, 19 rounds are planned for the 2014 season, with FIM confirming Spanish Grand Prix organisers have now finalised a deal to have the Jerez race on May 4.
The race in Brazil remains subject to confirmation however.
