Ducati to unveil 2014 livery after MotoGP tests

Selasa, 28 Januari 2014

Ducati is not expected to unveil its new MotoGP race livery until after the conclusion of pre-season testing.

Ducati’s Julian Thomas told Crash.net that Cal Crutchlow and Andrea Dovizioso will continue with black bikes when 2014 track action gets underway at Sepang early next month, with the official red livery set to be unveiled during a team presentation in March.

The Italian factory has normally been the first to unveil its new colours, during the Marlboro-funded Wrooom Press Ski Meeting at Madonna di Campiglio each January, but that event was not held this year.

So far, only the Factory Yamaha Team has officially unveiled its 2014 MotoGP colours – and that livery could change should rumoured sponsorship deals be completed.

After official tests at Sepang (twice) and then Qatar, the new MotoGP season gets underway back at the Losail circuit from March 20-23.
